Discover the GravityPhiX Solution to Aging
I’ve always believed the best way to help a patient achieve their aesthetic goals is by addressing the root cause of their concerns and providing a comprehensive approach to skin wellness. This has helped me master the art of injection throughout my nearly 14 years of experience, delivering superior results to patients and instructing many fellow injectors along the way. Now, I’m excited to introduce the next evolution of this philosophy — GravityPhiX.
GravityPhiX is a methodology I personally developed combining my expert understanding of facial anatomy, muscle movement and injectables. The methodology gets its name from both the term “Phi” and “X” — the Roman number for 10. Phi is commonly referred to as the “golden ratio” and has been deemed the most aesthetically pleasing of facial proportions (the Mona Lisa is just one example from art!) The “X” represents the 10 areas of muscle movement in the face and neck commonly attributed to aging and aesthetic concerns. The areas include:
- Forehead
- Glabella (part of the forehead between the brows)
- Crows Feet
- Bunny (lines along the nose)
- Upper Lip
- Lower Lip
- Chin
- DAO (corners of the mouth)
- Masseter (cheek/jaw)
- Neck
My methodology is centered around the signs of aging caused by repeated muscle movement over time, referred to as dynamic lines, and treated with Botox. While people are familiar with Botox in the upper face to address things like wrinkles on the forehead, many injectors often overlook how this injectable can be used to treat lower face and neck concerns. Things such as jowls, lines around the mouth and lips as well as neck laxity are typically the result of muscle movement over the course of our lives that creates a “tug of war” effect on the skin until it eventually gives in and appears aged. For these issues, Botox is commonly the best solution for both treatment and prevention.
The great thing about GravityPhiX is it’s designed to help patients of all ages to both prevent and address issues. Most patients and injectors think the patient in their 20s or early 30s may require preventative Botox in the forehead and crows feet while someone in their 40s or 50s could need injections in the DAO and neck to improve skin laxity. We know our skin gradually ages over time, so why wouldn’t it make sense to both prevent and treat issues we know will arise? This can be accomplished by addressing and potentially treating multiple areas at an earlier age than previously thought necessary. By examining aging in such a comprehensive view, I can use my methodology to provide desired results each and every time.
